philosophy: 1/3 c. gum base, 1/2 c. powdered sugar, 2 tbsp. corn syrup, 1 tsp. glycerin, 1/4 tsp. citric acid, 6 drops bubble gum flavoring, 4 drops red food coloring. place gum base in dish and microwave for 1 min. remove and stir. repeat until gooey. add flavoring and food color and stir well. set aside 1 tbsp. powdered sugar. on work surface, make a well in the middle of 1/4 c. of powdered sugar. pour melted gum base mixture into well. knead the gum base and sugar.
